アプレッセから、リアルなディティール、加工で製作したワイドデニム。

50年代後半の、いわゆる完成形とうたわれるXXをベースに製作した一本です。生地は13ozの赤耳付きセルヴィッジインディゴデニムを使用。50年代後半から、60年代前半頃のXXの糸使いを再現してしっかりと打ち込んだデニムです。タテ落ちの表情がとても良く、ヴィンテージの味を忠実に再現しています。

シルエットは大きく変えず、また上を僅かに深くして、尻ぐりのくい込みを軽減させることで、バックスタイルを調整しています。大きいサイズのデニムでまれに見られる、バックポケットが脇側に離れているバランスを活かし、完成されたデザインの中に、遊びを入れています。バックポケットの補強用の隠しリベット等のディティールは、ヴィンテージの良き味としてそのまま採用しました。
